Conduct a Home Inspection

Your Realtor® will insure that you have built in to your purchase contract a period of time to allow you an opportunity for a Home Inspection before you loose the right to cancel based on the physical condition of the home.

We recommend you choose to hire a professionally trained home inspector to give you an unbiased objective evaluation of the home. When a home ages the mechanical and operating systems may perform at less than optimal levels. Occasionally the home may have evidence of major structural problems or even problems with water invasion; you need to have peace of mind when making one of your largest financial decisions.

Home Inspectors will inspect:

  1. Exterior of the home including the roof system
  2. The foundation and grading
  3. Landscape features including sprinkling system
  4. Doors and windows
  5. Interior features including walls and floors
  6. Electrical and plumbing systems
  7. Heat/ Cooling and Ventilation systems
  8. Attic space and crawl spaces
  9. Appliances
  10. Recommend further specific inspections as required

When the inspection is complete your inspector will issue a report complete with photographs which you can review. If you feel the inspection reveals problems with the house that you feel are not acceptable then your Realtor® will advise you as to how to either propose a resolution the seller or cancel based on Evaluations and Inspections.
